Sunita William recalls her memories after her return from space
Hints at her India visit

Washington (US) – Indian origin NASA astronaut Sunita Williams returned to earth after 9 months stay in space. After that, she attended her first press conference. The journalists asked her questions related to India. “How does India look from the space ?” Sunita answered, “India is a great country. It looks like a network of lights. It is marvellous, Gujarat, Maharashtra, all small towns and big cities, the ocean…it is wonderful.”

1.Sunita added, India looks like ripples flowing downward. One can see several colours. When we come from the East to West the fleet of fishermen on the seacoast indicate that we are here. I felt like India has a network of lights right from mega cities to small towns and it can be seen through the day and night, which is unbelievable.

2.Sunita mentioned that she might visit India. “I hope to visit my father’s country. I will visit an Indian who is part of Axiom Mission. I will certainly meet him sometime. We will share our experiences. India is a great country. Their democracy is wonderful. This country has made an entry into the world of space. We are prepared to be a part of it and will not hesitate to offer help. We will help ISRO too.”
