China building new highways near Ladakh border

If India builds anything near the border, China accuses India of creating tension on the border, so why is India silent while China is doing such construction ?

Leh (Ladakh) – China has begun building new highways and roads along the Ladakh border. It has also started deploying missiles near east Ladakh. In recent talks between India and China, India had expressed concern over China’s construction on the border.

Chinese troops have begun building new highways in the Aksai Chin area, near the eastern Ladakh sector. This will reduce the time it takes for Chinese troops to reach the Line of Actual Control.

Several drones have also been added for surveillance. China is widening highways and building new airstrips apart from the main bases at Kashgar, Gar Gunsa and Hotan.

Tibetans are being recruited and stationed at border posts along with the Han army from the mainland. China wants to use the ‘sons of the soil’ to man the difficult terrain, where it is tough for their troops to survive.
