BJP should liberate Government controlled temples not only in Tamil Nadu but across India : HJS

BJP MLA from Chikkamangaluru constituency in Karnataka and BJP National General Secretary Mr. CT Ravi have promised to return all temples to the devotees if the BJP comes to power in Tamil Nadu. CT Ravi has supported the ‘Free the temples’ campaign started by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

Earlier, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa had assured that if the BJP came to power, all temples would be handed over to the devotees. “As a first step, cow-protection law was legislated. Likewise, the decision to liberate all temples in Karnataka should be taken and Hindu devotees be handed over the temples”, demanded Mr. Ramesh Shinde (National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti).

During the Congress rule, thousands of temples in various States were taken over by the Government; God’s money in temples was looted. Hindu places of worship were thus assaulted. Only Hindu temples were taken over by the Government while mosques and churches were left untouched. The BJP should start undoing this injustice”, added Mr. Ramesh Shinde
