Murders of sadhus rampant in Uttar Pradesh !

Sadhu hacked to death with an axe within the temple surroundings in Agra

* Hindus do not expect an occurrence of such incidents repeatedly in a State ruled by the BJP. Hindus strongly feel that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ought to take stringent remedial measures and put an end to such incidents.

Agra (UP) – Shiv Giri, a Sadhu performing puja in a Hanuman Temple near the banks of river Yamuna, was hacked to death with an axe by an unidentified person. Shiv Giri was killed within the temple premises itself where he was residing.

On 17th March early morning, the locals  saw that the blood-stained dead body of the Sadhu was lying within the temple surroundings and they informed the Police. The Police immediately reached the spot and took the dead body in possession. The Police are in search of the person who has committed the crime. An axe used to commit the murder has been recovered. The Police have not obtained any evidence to indicate the murder may have been committed with the intention of theft or looting. They, therefore, suspect that an acquaintance might have committed the murder.
