New Delhi – The Income Tax Department raided 22 places in Betul, Satna, Mumbai, Solapur and Kolkata in connection with Congress MLA Nilay Daga from Betul in Madhya Pradesh. Sources claim that undisclosed assets worth Rs. 450 crores with uncovered in the raid.
The Income Tax department said it has recovered “unexplained” cash of over ₹8 crore and seized foreign currency worth 44 lakh after raiding a Soya products manufacturing group. Nine bank lockers were also found during the search, as per sources from Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).
