
New Delhi – The Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court (SC) has postponed the final hearing of Maratha reservation case which was scheduled to begin on 20th January. The case will now be heard on 5th February.
After the apex court stayed the execution of Maratha reservation, State Government had demanded the case be transferred to a 5-member Constitutional Bench and revocation of stay-order. However, the Court had refused to revoke the stay order in its hearing on 9th December 2020.
