Tehran (Iran) – US President Donald Trump described Iran’s situation as dire, while commenting on the US attacks against the country.

On July 22, the 12th consecutive day of US operations, it launched attacks on Iran. Strikes involving missiles and aerial assaults were carried out at multiple locations across the Iranian provinces of Khuzestan, Bushehr, Hormozgan, and Ilam. According to Iranian officials, several military bases and strategic sites were targeted.

Houthi rebels from Yemen attack Saudi oil tankers

Meanwhile, Houthi rebels from Yemen attacked Saudi oil tankers—named ‘Enselia’ and ‘Laila’—in the Red Sea using missiles and drones. Saudi Arabia has confirmed the incident. The Houthi rebels have warned all vessels to stay away from Saudi ports. These actions by the Houthi rebels have created tension in the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, raising concerns about potential impact on global oil supplies.

Trump has warned that if Iran attacks any vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, the US will bomb bridges and power plants within Iran, including targets in Tehran.
