The world bows only to those who know how to bend it to their wishes ! — Dipke

Abhijit Dipke’s hubristic taunt on Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation.

New Delhi – The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which had been protesting for the past 36 days demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the ‘NEET’ question paper leak case, celebrated following Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. Addressing the protestors gathered at Jantar Mantar, CJP founder Abhijit Dipke made a hubristic taunt – ‘They (the Government) used to say, ‘resignations are not given in this government’; but the world bows only to those who know how to bend it to their wishes !

Our protest will continue until our remaining two demands are fulfilled !— Dipke

Abhijit Dipke further stated, ‘Although the minister has resigned, we still have two more demands. We will not just leave Jantar Mantar like this. Once a cockroach gets inside, it doesn’t come out. The families of the students who committed suicide must receive ₹1 crore in compensation. The Police officers must be prosecuted. The Delhi Police officers should remember that they are picking a fight with a ‘cockroach’. We have forced a minister to resign, so who do you think you are? (The arrogance has gone to the cockroach’s head ! The public is observing this ! — Editor) The cases against the students must be withdrawn. Brother, this is a democracy. For a month, people kept asking me, ‘What are you doing? How much longer are you going to sit here? They won’t resign.’ This is an authoritarian government. But we persisted and were successful.’

If our demands are accepted, we will go home ! — Ashutosh Ranka

Ashutosh Ranka, National Spokesperson of the CJP, stated, ‘If you (the Government) accept our three demands in writing, we will go home.’

This is a victory for democracy ! — Sonam Wangchuk

Sonam Wangchuk

Sonam Wangchuk stated, ‘Real democracy emerging from the streets is a triumph of peace, patience, and perseverance. Congratulations to the CJP and the youth of this country, and my heartfelt gratitude to all the citizens who overcame fear and intimidation to raise their voices from every corner of the Nation.’

From now on, every Government will have to abide by the will of the people ! — Priyanka Vadra

Priyanka Vadra

Congress leader Priyanka Vadra stated, ‘From today onward, every ruler in this country will remember that they must listen to the people. (Priyanka Vadra ought to reveal how many times the Congress actually listened to the people during its own regime ! The Congress, which held the public hostage by imposing the Emergency in the country, would do better to avoid making such statements ! — Editor) Students protested across the country. This is their victory. Today, the RSS has completely ruined India’s education system.’

29 years ago, Dharmendra Pradhan had also protested against question paper leaks !

Dharmendra Pradhan’s former associate, Prashant Raut, shared that back in 1997, when a question paper was leaked in Odisha, Pradhan had led the protest. Approximately 1,500 students participated in the agitation. The police lathi-charged the protestors, during which Dharmendra Pradhan was severely beaten. He sustained multiple injuries and even suffered a bone fracture.
