‘Comedy Couple’, a television serial on Zee5 OTT app, insults ‘gomūtra’

The serial faces stiff resistance expressed on social media

It is often witnessed that several Web series insult Hindu Dharma in various ways. The Government should take strict action aginst the concerned.

New Delhi – ‘Comedy Couple’, a web series on Zee5 OTT app, insults ‘gomūtra'(Cows urine). This Web serial has commenced telecast from 11th October. The insult of ‘gomutra’ is noticed in the teaser that was launched recently. Several organisations and people registered displeasure about it on social media.

The actor, Sakib Salim, a religious fanatic in the serial while taunting the sentiments of Hindus says, “Get me cold drink to satisfy my thirst. Have you got cold water ? Even the gomutra will also do. I am ready to drink it. At least, my demerits would be cleansed by it”.
