Kolkata – The Assembly elections are due shortly. Mamata Banerjee has announced a free house and Rs. 1,000 assistance per month to each Brahman priest. There are over 8,000 Brahman priests in Bengal. This is an attempt to lure Brahman voters and is a part of Mamata’s tactics.
