Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen planned to carry out a suicide attack on India’s Independence Day

Information gathered from arrested terrorists

India is the only country which has been celebrating its Independence and Republic Days under the shadow of terrorism for the last 3 decades. How long will such a situation exist ?

Amritsar (Punjab) – Amir Hussain Wani and Vasim Hasan Wani, terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba who were arrested from Pathankot for possession of illegal weapons are being interrogated.

As per the information gathered from them, Lashkar-e-Taiba & Hizbul Mujahideen are preparing themselves to carry out suicide attacks on 15^th August, the Independence Day.

The arrested terrorists were carrying weapons with them for this purpose only. Since the security is very tight at the Kashmir border, it is becoming difficult to supply weapons from the borders of Kashmir.
