The CCTV footage showed the employees hiding bundles of currency notes beneath their feet while counting the cash. After concealing the money, Chirag Thakur would leave the counting area on the pretext of going to the restroom. On one such occasion, a bundle containing ₹1 lakh 4 thousand fell from his pocket. Following this, the temple trust lodged a police complaint against him.

Editorial Perspective

Every person serving in a temple should be a devotee and a seeker. A rule should now be introduced that no one other than such individuals should be appointed to serve or work in temples.
