Christian stabs Indian-origin Muslim over his religion in the US

Victim Muslim Syed Sohail Uddin and accused Peter Michael Larson

Utah (United States) – A Christian man allegedly attacked an Indian-origin Muslim employee with a knife in broad daylight at the Valley Fair Mall in West Valley City, United States, after asking him about his religion. The injured employee was admitted to hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. The accused admitted to the Police that he had attempted to kill the victim because he was a Muslim. The accused has been identified as Peter Michael Larson (48), while the victim is Syed Sohel Uddin.

During Police questioning, Larson openly admitted that he considered himself a “catalyst” and that his objective was to kill Muslims.

Imam Shuaib Din of the Utah Islamic Center said that incidents of harassment, threats and violence against Muslims had increased significantly in the state of Utah over the past few years. He added that this was the most serious attack ever carried out against a member of their community in the state’s history.

When a Christian attacks a Muslim because of his religion, it becomes global news; however, no matter how many attacks are carried out by fanatic Muslims in the name of jihad, they are not given similar importance.
