Jaipur (Rajasthan) – The Police arrested Rashid Khan and Amjad Saiyad on 27th May for killing a Hindu activist, Bharat Vaishnav, said Ravindra Pratap Singh, Officer In-charge of Sadri Police station.
Earlier, the Police had arrested Rashid Langda and Irak Khan in this connection. Their interrogation revealed that the murder was committed for money. The culprits convinced Bharat Vaishnav to meet them alone in a jungle. They made him take a pledge with Bhagwat Geeta and Rashid Langda took a pledge with the Quran. Bharat Vaishnav went to the forest alone. Rashid Langda and his accomplices Rashid Khan, Sattar, Irak, and Gafoor Khan were already waiting there. They fired bullets and then attacked him with a sword. Bharat Vaishnav died. The miscreants tried to kill Kishandas, an assistant of Bharat Vaishnav, but he managed to escape.
