An accused out on bail kills six persons, including his wife, children and the complainant, in Rangareddy (Telangana)

Rangareddy (Telangana) – A man who was out on bail here killed six persons on the night of 10 July, including his wife, his children, the 16-year-old girl who had filed a complaint against him, and her relatives. The accused had been granted bail last month on a personal bond after obtaining anticipatory bail in the case against him. After committing the murders, he absconded, and the Police are searching for him. The accused has been identified as Raju Kumar (35). The 16-year-old girl had lodged a complaint alleging that the accused had been stalking her.

The accused reached the house of the 16-year-old complainant at around 10:45 p.m. After he knocked on the door, the victim’s mother opened it. The accused stabbed her to death with a knife. He then killed the victim’s 60-year-old grandmother, who was asleep. Thereafter, he dragged the 16-year-old victim into a car, took her near a village pond and repeatedly stabbed her with a knife, resulting in her death. He abandoned her body near the pond and fled the scene.

Later, at around 11:30 p.m., he went to his own house and murdered his 31-year-old wife by slitting her throat. He then brutally murdered his two children, aged four years and 18 months, in the same manner. Police said that both children were asleep when they were killed. After committing the murders, the accused telephoned his father and confessed to the crime.

Editorial Perspective

The fact that a person resorts to such an extreme act shows that he has not received proper Sanskars and has no knowledge of the Dharmashastra relating to the law of Karma, Karmaphal, Prarabdha, etc. In a Hindu Rashtra, the public will be imparted Dharmashikshan. As a result, criminal tendencies will be reduced at their very root.
