A patriotic child in Denmark saying that reusing a postal stamp means deceiving the nation

When I was 14 years old, I had a pen-friend named Vora Helen Koch. She was Danish and was the same age as me. Once the postal stamp on the envelope she had mailed me was not stamped. I carefully removed the stamp from that envelope, sent it back to her and wrote, “You can reuse this stamp”. After a month I received a reply from her. She returned that stamp and wrote, “I am returning the stamp sent by you. You can stick it in an album or give it to somebody. Reusing this stamp means cheating my Nation, Denmark. If we only deceive our Nation, our Nation will never progress. You should also never deceive your Nation”.
