Mumbai – Samajwadi Party President and MP Akhilesh Yadav claimed that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation was performed using his big toe. In response, Maharashtra’s Minister of Marketing and Protocol, Jaykumar Rawal, has demanded that Akhilesh Yadav issue a public apology. Speaking at an event, Rawal further urged that legal action be taken against Yadav for spreading false information and that he be sent to jail

Rawal further added, “The leaders of Samajwadi Party are distorting history. Wins and losses are a part of politics, but that does not justify making misleading statements about our great national heroes. It is deeply unfortunate that such remarks, which hurt the sentiments of millions, are made for political gain. We will not tolerate any tampering with our history. The BJP has immense respect for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and firmly stands by his legacy.”
