
Kathmandu – Supporter of Nepal’s 240 years of monarchy which ended in 2008, took out march in Kathmandu and various other places demanding the revival of monarchy in Nepal.
1.Nepal’s former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said, ‘If National Democratic Party(RPP) makes King Gyanendra Shah as its President, later they will regret it. If Gyanendra Shah wants to enter Politics he should establish his own party. There is no question of Nepal returning to a Monarchy system of government’.
2.The Nepal Congress which is in Governance now should clarify its position in this matter. Even though the party has said that Nepal need not change the present system of governance. The Constitution of Nepal is based on the Democratic System. This Constitution has been made by the people who were elected by the people of Nepal to do so.
3.On 28thMarch the supporters of monarchy and supporters of National Democratic Party have planned rally as a show of strength.
