Victim Slapped by Church Priest Accused of Assault in Chandigarh

In 2018, he was also imprisoned for raping another woman !

Jalandhar (Punjab) – A video of Bajinder Singh, a Church priest from Jalandhar who claims to heal illnesses through miracles, has gone viral on social media. In the video, he is seen slapping a woman and a young man at his office in Chandigarh on February 14.

The woman had earlier accused him of molestation and filed a police complaint against him. It is being reported that he acted violently towards her after she visited his office. His followers refer to him as the “Jesus-Jesus Guru.”

Details of the Incident:

In the viral video, Bajinder Singh, visibly enraged, first throws a phone and a bag at the young man before slapping him. He then hurls a book at the woman who had accused him of molestation and proceeds to slap her as well. The Church priest has not issued any statement regarding the incident.

Bajinder Singh claims to cure diseases like cancer and even resurrect the dead. His events are often attended by Bollywood celebrities.

He was previously accused of rape in 2018 and was arrested. However, the victim later withdrew her allegations.

Editorial Perspective

Many media outlets and so-called progressive groups, who are quick to defame Hindu saints over alleged misconduct, remain silent when similar allegations surface against non-Hindu religious leaders. It is high time Hindus demand accountability and force them to take a stand on such incidents !
