Here is the experience of a devout Hindu in this regard

A devout Hindu was withdrawing money from an ATM machine using a card. Then a young man standing behind him said, ‘Insert the card in the machine correctly’, took the card from the devout Hindu’s hand, inserted it into the machine and went back. When the devout Hindu concerned entered the ‘PIN’ number, a message that it was incorrect started appearing on the ATM machine screen. Thinking that there must be a fault in the ATM machine, the devout Hindu went to another ATM machine and tried to withdraw money from there; but even then the message that the ‘PIN’ number was incorrect started appearing. Then, when the devout Hindu checked the amount in the account on his mobile phone, he noticed that more than Rs 10,000 had been withdrawn from it. After that, the devout Hindu went to the bank and told the manager about the incident. When he checked the account information, he noticed that the card in the devout Hindu’s possession did not belong to him. While withdrawing money from the ATM machine, the young man had cleverly changed the devout Hindu’s card and also stole the PIN number and based on that, he had withdrawn the amount from his account. Later, the devout Hindu ‘blocked’ his card and also filed a complaint at the Police station.
The above can happen to anyone. Keeping this possibility in mind, one should be alert while withdrawing money from the ATM machine.
