Pune : Case registered against five Muslims for keeping Aurangzeb's picture and 'Reels'

Pune – In Pune, two separate cases have emerged involving social media posts featuring Aurangzeb’s image, leading to hurt religious sentiments and attempting to incite social discord.

In the first incident, an Instagram user identified as “Lala” posted an image of Aurangzeb’s grave with a controversial caption: “Us badshah ki kya shan rahi hogi, jiska naam leke aajtak log siyasat karte hain” (What honour must that emperor have had, whose name is still used in politics today). The post was seen as an attempt to provoke religious sentiments and create discord between communities. The Vishrantwadi Police, acting on a complaint filed by Vishnu Manoj Salunkhe, have filed a case under Section 106(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for disturbing public harmony. Police Sub-Inspector Shabbir Shaikh is investigating the matter.

In the second case, another Instagram user, identified as Saeed Ahmed Pathan, was reported for posting similar content in the Mangalwar Peth area under the jurisdiction of Samarth Police Station. The post hurt Hindu sentimeedia in fuelling religious tensions in the state, with authorities taking swift action to investigate these provocative posts.

In the third case, a person in the area of Bundgarden police station hurnts and aimed to create tension between communities. Hemant Datta Gaikwad filed the complaint, leading to the registration of a case under Section 196(1)(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Police is investigating this case.

Both incidents have drawn attention to the growing role of social mt the sentiments of the Hindu community by posting a photograph and song of a particular person on Instagram. In this case, a case has been registered against Vikram Premchand Sohail Sheikh.

Editorial Perspective

This simply means that the Muslims concerned have Aurangzeb as their ideal. This tells us what their mentality is and how much hatred for Hindus is ingrained in their minds. It should not be surprising if they attack Hindus tomorrow ! This is why patriots feel that the Government should destroy Aurangzeb’s grave and protect the interests of society by destroying that wicked mentality !
