This shows that the converted people are more fanatic than the one’s born into the religion. Christians indulge in conversion activities in Hindu-majority India and dare to speak such words. Such Christian priests should be given life imprisonment.
New Delhi – A video of Christian pastor Praveen Chakravarthy, which was uploaded by ‘Legal Right Protection Forum’ has been doing rounds on social media where he claims that he has converted entire villages in Andhra Pradesh and also kicked the Idols of Hindu Deities and felt good doing it.
The video has caused consternation in people, calling for his arrest and ban on his NGO. He heads the NGO called ‘Sylom Blind Center’. Later the pastor apologised, and as expected, the Andhra Police have taken no action against him.
Appeal of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS)
- HJS appealed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Telangana DGP to :
- Immediately arrest Pastor Praveen Chakrvarthy
- Examine the matter of Religious Conversions by ‘Sylom Blind Center’, ‘Water of Life’ and ‘Set Free Alliance’ organisations
- Freeze the bank accounts of ‘Sylom Blind Center’ and cancel its FCRA license
- Ban on Pastor Praveen Chakravarthy from taking responsibility of any NGOs in future
Complaint by ‘Legal Right Protection Forum’
The ‘Legal Right Protection Forum’ also wrote to the Union Home Ministry and Minister for Foreign Affairs in which a demand has been made to cancel the registration of ‘Sylom Blind Center’ and impound its bank accounts.
