A major disaster was averted as the time bomb did not explode

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – An attempt to detonate a time bomb on the route of Deity Jagannath’s ‘Bahuda Rath Yatra’ was exposed here on the afternoon of July 24th. A major disaster was averted as the bomb could not explode and due to the vigilance of the security forces. Thousands of devotees participated in this yatra.

The Bahuda Yatra was traveling from the famous Swamibag ISKCON temple in Dhaka to the Dhakeshwari temple. Thousands of Hindu devotees participated in this procession. After the Rath Yatra moved along the main road, a Police officer posted there noticed that a time bomb had been placed in a suspicious bag on the side of the road. Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the Police immediately evacuated the area and shifted the devotees to a safe place. After this, the Police’s bomb detection and disposal team rushed to the spot and defused the bomb.

Devotees pay gratitude to Deity Jagannath

The incident has created an atmosphere of fear and anxiety among the Hindu community in and around Dhaka. ISKCON officials and local devotees said that it was only by the grace of Deity Jagannath that the bomb did not explode in time, saving the lives of thousands of innocent people.

Police begin investigation

Bangladesh Police have registered a case against unknown persons and have started an investigation based on CCTV footage from the area. They are investigating whether any fundamentalist organization is behind this.

• The bomb did not explode this time; however, Hindus need to remain vigilant, keeping in mind that Jihadi terrorists will try to explode it next time.
• Since no one else will protect the Hindus in Bangladesh, they should now unite and protect themselves.
