Court reprimands main accused in NEET question paper leak case while rejecting his bail plea !

New Delhi – “Your reprehensible and illegal acts have betrayed honest students who worked hard day and night and prepared for the examination through honest means. The question paper leak affected lakhs of students. You ruined the entire examination out of greed and for illicit wealth. Because of you, not only were crores of rupees lost, but the country was also brought into disrepute.”
In these words, a special court in Delhi reprimanded the main accused in the NEET question paper leak case, Dr Manoj Shirure, while rejecting his bail plea. The court also extended the judicial custody of all 13 accused arrested in the case until 6 August.
Dr Shirure is accused of taking ₹5 lakh from a student and providing him with the leaked Chemistry question paper at his hospital in April.
