Patliputra (Bihar) – During protests over the NEET question paper leak case in Patliputra and Siwan, students pelted stones at the police. In Siwan, the Superintendent of Police was injured in the stone-pelting. The police are dispersing the protesters with batons. Tej Pratap Yadav, son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, who participated in the protest, has been taken into custody by the police.
Demonstrations are underway in several cities of Uttar Pradesh, including Prayagraj, Lucknow and Saharanpur. Protests are also being held in 20 cities across Madhya Pradesh. In Indore, drones are being used to monitor students participating in the protest.
