Germany: Clash between two groups inside a gurdwara; 11 injured

Berlin (Germany) – A sudden clash broke out between two groups inside a gurdwara located in the Duisburg area of Moers city. At least 11 people were injured in the incident. According to eyewitnesses, weapons such as knives, kirpans, pepper spray, and even a firearm were used. A video of the clash has circulated on social media.

Preliminary police investigation suggests that the dispute was related to the gurdwara committee elections and financial matters.

The argument escalated even before the religious program began, eventually turning into a violent physical confrontation. Upon receiving information about the incident, a large police force reached the spot, and a special technical team was also deployed. The injured were treated at the scene. One suspect has been taken into custody, and the police are investigating who attacked whom.
