(Hanuman Maldhari means a devotee who observes the vow of Hanuman)

Mandya (Karnataka) – Here, Hanuman Maldharis had taken out a grand Sankirtan Yatra. Thousands of devotees holding saffron flags along with the idol of Hanuman participated in this Yatra. As soon as the Yatra reached in front of Jamia Masjid in Srirangapatnam, the Maldharis in the Yatra raised slogans like ‘Jai Shriram, Jai Hanuman’, ‘We are all Hindus’, ‘Swearing Hanuman, we will build the temple here’. After this, some Maldharis suddenly tried to enter the mosque. Due to this, a tense situation arose near Jamia Masjid. This incident took place on the afternoon of December 3. As soon as this incident was known, a large number of Hanuman Maldharis gathered there. At this time, a scuffle broke out between the Maldharis and the police. The police subsequently increased deployment around the mosque and worked to disperse the crowd. Officers eventually pacified the participants and guided them away from the area. The Sankirtan Yatra concluded later at the grounds of the Ranganathaswamy Temple.
Editorial PerspectiveMuslim invaders demolished numerous Hindu temples and built their own places of worship there, this is history. Therefore, a thorough investigation should be done regarding this mosque as well and the truth should be brought before the Hindus ! Since it is impossible to investigate the Hindu-hating Congress government in Karnataka, Hindus expect that the Union Government should take the initiative for this ! |
