New Delhi – During November, daytime temperatures across most parts of the country are likely to remain below normal, while night temperatures may stay above normal. As a result, the onset of harsh winter (cold season) across the country may be delayed, informed Dr. Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, Director General of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), during an online conference.
Rainfall to Continue Even in November
According to the IMD, most parts of the country may receive normal or above-normal rainfall in November. However, some regions in northwest India and the southern peninsula are likely to experience below-normal rainfall.
