Chhattisgarh Waqf Board’s order to every mosque, madarasa and dargah

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) – On the occasion of Independence Day, the State Waqf Board has given an order to madarasas, mosques and dargahs in Chhattisgarh to hoist the Tricolour on 15th August. There are 3,287 mosques in the state. Board Chairman Dr. Salim Raj said that all the mosques should send the respective photograph to the board’s portal (website) after hoisting the tricolour. The location and time at which the national flag was hoisted must be noted under the photograph. A mosque without the national flag will be considered Pakistani.
Editorial PerspectiveThey should give such an order to every mosque, madarasa and dargah in the country ! It is also worth introspecting why such an order was required ? Those not hoisting the flag without an order should be considered as ‘Pakistani’, their structures confiscated, and their chiefs should be put in jail ! |
