Terrorism does have a religion and it is Islam : Former BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) – After getting acquitted in the Malegaon bomb blast case, former BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur returned to her native city Bhopal. She was given a grand welcome by showering flowers and chanting ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’. Talking to reporters here, Sadhvi Pragya said, “Who says terrorism has no colour ? The colour of terrorism is green. Terrorism is spread under the green flag. What these people did in Pahalgam by under the green colour is before everyone to see. The terrorists confirmed tourists’ Hindu identity, took off their clothes for the same, and then shot them. It is certain that there is Islamic terrorism.”

Hindus can never be terrorists

Sadhvi Pragya Singh said that she had to endure 17 years of physical and mental torture in the Malegaon bomb blast case; but in the end, truth prevailed. Congress created the false narrative of ‘saffron terrorism’; but it did not survive. Hindus can never be terrorists, as Hindus are tolerant. ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ is our philosophy. Congress supported the immoral mentality and hatched a conspiracy to humiliate Hindus. Congress sheds tears for terrorists and harasses Hindus. Digvijay Singh has completely lost his mind. His very name is inauspicious.

‘Terrorism has no religion’ : All India Imam Association

Sadhvi Pragya’s statement has drawn strong reactions from the opposition parties and Muslim organizations. Maulana Sajid Rashidi, president of the All India Imam Association, called Sadhvi’s statement ‘Islamophobic’. Rashidi said that linking terrorism to any religion is not only wrong, but also divisive. When Hindus are caught spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence), are they called ‘Hindu terrorists’ or ‘saffron terrorists’ ? (Hindus demand that Hindu traitors be hanged; but when Jihadis are caught, how many Muslim organizations or Maulana Rashidi and his organization demand that they be hanged ? – Editor). Terrorists have no religion, they are the enemies of humanity. (Has Rashidi ever spoken like this about Jihadi organizations like Islamic State, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Popular Front of India, SIMI, etc. ? – Editor).

When Congress coined the terms ‘Hindu terrorism’ and ‘saffron terrorism’, why didn’t Muslim organizations oppose it ? Why didn’t they assert that ‘terrorism has no religion’ ? Jihadi terrorism has troubled the country for the last 35 years. Has any Muslim organization ever taken to the streets in protest of it ? Has any of them demanded a ban on any Jihadi terrorist organization ? On the contrary, they have opposed the ban on such organizations.

Reacting to Sadhvi’s statement, Congress’s Madhya Pradesh spokesperson Bhupendra Gupta said that the Courts have already made it clear that terrorism has no colour. Sadhvi Pragya Singh’s statement is very unfortunate. She is once again trying to divide the society.
