Chhangur Baba wanted to convert UP into an Islamic country

Balarampur (Uttar Pradesh) – It has been found during the investigations that Jamaluddin alias ‘Chhangur Baba’ arrested in Lucknow for conversion of Hindus, didn’t have the intention of only conversion of Hindus but he wanted to convert Uttar Pradesh into an Islamic country. There is a huge network of anti-national activities and black money in this case. The information obtained by the Police reveal that Chhangur Baba had a plan of changing the demography of districts in Uttar Pradesh and forming an Islamic State.

1. He was spreading hatred for Hindu Dharma

Chhangur Baba was not only converting Hindus but he was also spreading hatred towards Hindu Dharma. It was his dream to set up an ‘Islamic Claim Centre’ and madarasa to carry on his activities.

2. Attempts to increase Muslim population

The advocate of the anti-terrorist squad informed the Court that it is an organised gang that lured poor Hindu labourers, widows by offering financial help, or lured by offering marriage or jobs and later, converted them. Their intention was to increase Muslim population and change the demography.

3. Funds worth Billions of rupees received from the central-east Islamic countries

Chhangur Baba had Rs 106 crores in 40 bank accounts. From where did he receive all the money ? During interrogations, it was found that most of the money was received from gulf countries. He also owns two properties worth billions of rupees and investigations are going on.

4. Role of the Police to be verified

In this case, the role of the Government employees and officers is also being checked whether they knowingly or unknowingly helped his gang.

5. Illegal building demolished

Chhangur Baba built a huge building in Madhupur. He stayed in one part of this building with his family and accomplices while the other part was kept vacant in the name of hospital, school and college where 15 CCTVs were fixed, and there were 2 fiery dogs. This building has been demolished since it was unauthorised.
