
Uruli Kanchan (Pune) – Unidentified thieves broke the donation box of Shri Ganapati Temple on Ashram Road under Gram Panchayat limits and looted cash from it. The incident came to light at 7 am on May 9. When devotees went to the temple for darshan in the morning, the lock of the donation box was found broken. A case has been registered at Uruli Kanchan police station. The construction of Shri Ganapati Temple on Ashram Road has been going on for the last few days. Hence, due to the power cut in the temple, the temple’s CCTV It was shut down. Taking advantage of this, the thieves broke the donation box of the temple. An estimated Rs 10,000-12,000 donated by devotees was stolen, said members of the Mahatma Gandhi Tarun Mandal.
