Srinagar (Jammu) – Kashmiri citizens have condemned the terrorist attack at Pahalgam. People from Pahalgam took out a candle march while ‘bandh’ was observed at many places in Kashmir. Mosques declared the attack as against Islam and humanity. Terrorism has no religion and it was a conspiracy to disturb peace and unity in Kashmir.
1. Kashmir is our home and we will not let it go in terrorists’ hands, were the slogans raised in mosques; demanding strict action against such a dastardly attack.
2. The mosque in Kishtwar stated that the whole Islamic community condemned the Pahalgam attack and demanded a Government inquiry. The guilty have to be punished. ‘Bandh’ was observed in Kishtwar on 23.04.2025 against the terrorist attack.
3. People from Baramulla and Srinagar took out candle marches to show their opposition to such attacks. The usually crowded Lal Chowk in Srinagar looked deserted after the terrorist attack. ‘Bandh’ was observed even at Katara in Jammu. Devotees going to Shri Vaishnodevi were also affected due to the attack.
