Congress and NCP had a hand in the 26/11 terror attacks : Madhav Bhandari, BJP State Spokesperson

Madhav Bhandari, BJP State Spokesperson

Pune, April 21 (News) – “The 26/11 terror attack (November 26, 2008) had the involvement of the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP),” alleged BJP state spokesperson Madhav Bhandari. Speaking at the launch event of Vikram Bhave’s book ‘Dabholkar Hatya Ani Mi’ in Pune, Bhandari claimed that intelligence reports had already warned of the attack as early as October, yet it was delayed by a month. “Such a massive strike isn’t possible without the complicity of someone influential within the local administration,” he added.

Bhandari’s clarification on his controversial remark:

Bhandari elaborated, saying, “The then government had issued a press release stating that an attack was imminent. They had even identified 85% of the target locations. If the government had this intelligence five months in advance, then preventing the attack was its responsibility. So why didn’t they stop it?”

“Investigate and act against anyone found guilty” – Deputy CM Ajit Pawar

Responding to the allegations, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stated, “If anyone from the NCP is found guilty in connection with this attack, they should be investigated and appropriate action must be taken. That’s all I have to say on the matter.”
