
Baharaich (UP) – On High Court orders, an illegal Mosque in the jurisdiction of Matera Police station has been bulldozed. This action was carried out under the guidance of Nanapara Revenue Officer, Ambika Chaudhary. A police team was deployed at the site for security.

A Mosque was run for many years on the government land in Bulbul Nawaz village in the jurisdiction of Matera Police Station, Nanapara Tehsil. Rafique, a resident of the village had registered a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) case against this Mosque in the High Court, demanding the land to be vacated. The High Court ordered removal of the Mosque after hearing the case. Following the order, Revenue Officer, Ambika Chaudhary, Nayab Tahsildar, Akshay Pande, Kanungo Ram Sajivan Pande reached the site with some workers. The Mosque was razed to vacate the land.
