Muslims of Bangladesh destroy the Devi’s Idol

Looted the Hindu shopkeeper and attacked his wife

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – On the night of 14th February a Muslim mob attacked a Hindu family and a Durga Temple in Nazipur sub division of Pirjpur District of Bangladesh. The destroyed the Devi idol by breaking it to pieces. 15-20 fanatic Muslims looted the shop of Revati Gayen a Hindu shop keeper. They also attacked his wife, Bithi Gayen.

1. The mob even attacked the Hindus who came to the rescue of the family. Information is that 10 Hindus have been injured in this attack.

2. The Chairman of Shri Durgadevi Temple Samiti Milan Gayen and his wife Irani Gayen are among the injured

3. The attackers were armed with iron rods and pipes.

4. The attackers Chhabbir Sheikh, Mustakin Sheikh and Nayan Sheikh have been arrested while the others are yet to be identified.

5. The Muslims threatened to physically harm the Hindu businessman and fled from there.

Editorial Perspective

While the attacks on Hindus in Islamic Bangladesh continue, US President Donald Trump hands over the responsibility of sorting out the situation in Bangladesh to Prime Minister Modi. Bharatiya Hindus feel that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should stop these attacks on Bangladeshi Hindus.
