Guwahati (Assam) – Police have arrested 28-year-old Muslim auto-rickshaw driver Manowar Hussain for abducting a Hindu woman and attempting to sexually assault her. He is a resident of Nalbari district in Assam. According to the police, the victim managed to escape from Hussain’s clutches and subsequently filed a complaint. Taking prompt cognizance of her complaint, the police arrested the accused Hussain. The auto-rickshaw used in the incident has also been seized. The police are conducting further investigation into the case.
