Fahim posed as 'Sahil' and trapped a Hindu woman: held her captive and gang-raped her!

New Delhi / Meerut – A 32-year-old Muslim youth named Fahim posed as a Hindu and befriended with a Hindu girl on Instagram. Later, he took her to his home in Meerut. There Fahim, his father, brother and a maulvi gang-raped her. They used to say that doing this to Hindu women would earn them ‘Jannat’ (heaven)! The whole family forced her to convert to Islam, wear burqa and eat beef. The woman has stated in her complaint that It took five years to free herself from their clutches.

1. The victim has stated that in November 2021, she got friendly with Sahil through Instagram. In March 2022, Sahil took her to Batla House in Delhi. She was raped by Sahil and his friend Ali and video recorded it.

2. Sahil threatened her and called her at Batla House again. He took her to his house in Sathla village in Meerut at gun-point. On reaching there, she realised that he was a Muslim and his real name was Fahim. The same night, he and later, his father had physical relations with her. Fahim’s mother Taslima and sister Ikra beat her up.

3. After some days, Fahim’s mother and sister took her to a madrasa at Agwanpur. Fahim’s uncle Hafiz Mansoor was maulvi there. He solemnised her nikah (marriage) with Fahim.

4. After the ‘Nikah’, Fahim’s family took her to another maulvi who raped her. Later, that maulvi started coming to their house every day. Fahim’s family used to send him to her room. Later, that maulvi began to bring more people with him. When she protested, he told her that these men are not doing this for free; they pay her mother-in-law.

5.The aggrieved woman reported that in November 2024, Fahim had some conflicts with his family. He returned to Batla House with her and her daughter. There Fahim was arrested in a weapons-trafficking case and was later sent to jail.

6. Later, she filed a complaint against accused Fahim and his family with the help of her brother, The Police have arrested Fahim and five others in connection with the case.
