Hyderabad (Telangana) – Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that Pakistan promotes terrorism and that supporters of terrorists will not receive water from the Indus River. He was speaking at a programme organised by the BJP in Hyderabad.
He further said, “Through Operation Sindoor, India has shown the world that it knows very well how to respond to those who do not understand the language of peace and harmony. Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, by keeping the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance, India sent a clear message that those who have lost all sense of humanity and compassion should not expect water from India. We will not allow the waters of the Indus River to reach those who shelter terrorists and are enemies of humanity.”
Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also stated that “water and blood cannot flow together.”
