13 senior lawyers write a letter to the Chief Justice demanding action
Prayagraj (UP) – Thirteen senior advocates from the Supreme Court have written a letter to Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna, demanding a case be registered against Justice Shekhar Yadav of the Allahabad High Court. The letter refers to a controversial statement made by Justice Yadav last year about Muslims. On 8th December 2024, Justice Yadav had made a statement during Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s event related to the Uniform Civil Code, saying, ‘The country will run according to the majority of people living in India; the law works based on the strength of the majority’.
