Actress Sonakshi Sinha labelled as ‘hypocrite’ for her statement on Diwali pollution

Sydney (Australia) – Actress Sonakshi Sinha and her husband Zaheer Iqbal celebrated the New Year in Australia. On 31st December, 2024, the couple posted a video post on their Instagram account wishing everyone a Happy New Year. In it, many people drew attention to the fact that several crackers were being burst into the sky behind the two. They also called Sonakshi a hypocrite; because Sonakshi Sinha had posted a post about pollution during Diwali.

A user on Instagram criticized Sonakshi and wrote, “For film actors, firecrackers only cause pollution during Diwali. In the New Year, firecrackers release oxygen.”
