Pakistan’s professor claims India is developing ‘Surya’ missile that can cover distance up to USA

India rejects the claim !

New Delhi – India has so far produced several indigenous intercontinental missiles. Their firepower extends to Asia and Europe. Now India is developing a missile called ‘Surya’ that can reach the United States, claimed the Pakistani defense expert. Prof. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, an expert at ‘the School of Politics and International Relations’ at Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad, has made this claim.

Jaspal claimed that the range of India’s proposed ‘Surya’ missile will be between 10,000 and 12,000 km.

India’s DRDO has consistently denied this. DRDO said that, India is not working on any Surya Missile project. India’s idea is to increase the defense capability as per the strategic requirement. At present, there is no thought of any project that will cover distance greater than that of ‘Agni’ missile.

The range of India’s ‘Agni-5’ missile is 5, 500 to 6,000 kilometers. The missile has the capability to target all of Asia and any part of Europe.
