Bangalore Police issue guidelines

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Bengaluru Police have issued guidelines for Muslims for ‘Eid-e-Milad’ celebrations in the wake of the attack on Ganesh immersion procession at Nagamangala village in Mandya District. The Police have instructed Muslims not to carry sharp objects during the Eid processions on 16th September. If the guidelines are not followed, action will be taken by the Police.
Some guidelines issued by the Police
1. Those participating in the processions should not carry any sharp objects.
2. No DJ should be used during the processions.
3. There should be no provocative scenes on display.
4. No raising of slogans in front of any place of worship (temple/church). (From this, it is clear that the Bengaluru Police have made a covert attempt to prove Hindus violent. Hindus never oppose a Muslim procession passing by their temple. On the contrary, if a Hindu procession passes by a mosque anywhere in India, it is attacked with stones, petrol bombs, swords etc. ! – Editor)
5. Organisers must ensure that there is no power problem during the processions.
6. Organisers should keep fire extinguishers ready during the processions.
7. There should not be more than 2 riders on 2-wheelers after the procession. (This means that Muslims ignore all traffic rules during such processions. – Editor)
8. Sound systems should be used only from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. so that senior citizens, school students and others are not disturbed.
9. The use of sound systems requires the permission of the local Police.
Editorial PerspectiveThe question is – how many of these instructions will be followed ? Muslims have to be instructed not to carry sharp objects during the Eid processions; this itself explains everything. One cannot forget that even during Hindu festivals, fanatic Muslims carry sharp objects such as swords. |
