Bangkok (Thailand) – More than 300 members from various organisations staged a protest in front of the Bangladesh Embassy in Bangkok against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. The protest included participation from international organisations like Vishva Hindu Parishad, Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishnu Mandir, Sathya Sai Foundation, Geeta Ashram, among others. The protest was held to raise awareness about the ongoing atrocities against Hindus and other minority communities in Bangladesh.

The student movement in Bangladesh has taken an Islamic form, and native Bangladeshi Hindus are being targeted. The protesters demanded that the Bangladeshi authorities immediately stop the atrocities on minorities, ensure justice to the victims, and provide them with the same rights as other citizens of the country. The protesters raised their voices against attacks on Hindu temples, massacres of Hindus, rapes, and brutal killings of Hindu women.

The protesters met with the Acting Officer of the Bangladesh Embassy, Hasnat Ahmed, and submitted a memorandum demanding attention to the serious issues faced by minorities in Bangladesh. The protest was led by Mr Sushil Saraf, Patron of Vishva Hindu Parishad and Secretary Mr Jay Shankar, and Mr Dinesh Pandey of Geeta Ashram.
