Statement by Pakistan’s Army Chief Munir on comparison of the situation in Pakistan with that in Bangladesh
Islamabad (Pakistan) – “If anyone tries to spread chaos in Pakistan, I swear by Allah, we will fight them. By the grace of Allah, the Pakistani Army will succeed in eliminating unrest and chaos,” said Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir. He was speaking at the National Ulema Convention in Islamabad. He made this statement in response to comparisons being made on social media between the situation in Pakistan and that in Bangladesh.
General Munir further said,
1. If you want to understand how important a nation is, look at Iraq, Syria, and Libya. Pakistan’s existence will continue because we are committed to preserving it. Millions of leaders and scholars have sacrificed for Pakistan because the country is more important than oneself.
2. In recent years, there has been increasing criticism of the military on social media, which is disrupting the political and social fabric of the country. Legal action is being taken against those involved in such attempts.
3. According to Allah’s command, the Pakistani Army is making tireless efforts to eliminate corruption in the country. I do not consider those who do not accept Sharia and the Constitution to be Pakistani.
Editorial Perspective
There has been chaos since the creation of Pakistan. Now, it will reach its peak, and even if Munir does not accept, Pakistan will be divided into four parts. This is a fact. |
