US trying to complicate Indian general elections : Russia slams the US

  • The US has no evidence of India’s involvement in the murder of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun
  • The US does not respect India as a country

Moscow (Russia) – Russia has made a serious allegation against the US that the purpose of the US is to disrupt the general elections in India. Slamming the US, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that the US is constantly making false accusations against India. It does not understand the national mentality and history of India. That is why the US makes baseless accusations about religious freedom.

Zakharova added,

1. The US is making baseless allegations of India’s involvement in the alleged conspiracy to kill Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. No credible information or evidence has been presented regarding the involvement of Indian nationals in the conspiracy to kill Pannun. In the absence of evidence, the (anti-India) speculation on this subject is unacceptable.
2. Washington’s action is an interference in India’s internal affairs. The US does not respect India as a country.
3. It is hard to imagine a more oppressive force than Washington in international and national affairs.

Editorial Perspective

US anti-India activities are nothing new. This shows that the US can go to any level to achieve its selfish purpose and still pretend to be friendly.
