We need to note the adverse effects of Governments’ taking control of temples. All temples in Kerala have been taken over by the State Government.
Two years ago, the ‘Hazrat Sayeed Balesha Pir Dargah Trust’, built a dargah on 24 acres on Government land.
Expressing its displeasure over the issue of toilets and drinking water in schools in the State, the Karnataka High Court reprimanded the Government, saying, “Show some seriousness.”
The devotees are asked to pay separate fees for darshan, entry into sanctum sanctorm, and darshan of the Bhasma arati.
This is a blot on the Administration.
