Muslim party participates in the Gyanvapi survey

The survey was conducted from 7.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. in the morning session and later, from 2.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. A team of 61 people from ASI is working on this case.
61 members of the Archaeology Department have participated in the survey. Representatives of the Hindu Party were also present on this occasion.
During the hearing, the Supreme Court asked the Muslim side why should we interfere with the order of the Allahabad High Court ?

Muslim side in its hearing against survey on the 26th July in its argument had expressed a fear that the survey could damage the structure. Hence, the Court asked the officials of the Archaeological department to be present in the Court.
Now when the Muslim side is going to petition the Allahabad High Court, the Hindu side is going to file a caveat there too.
Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain representing the Hindu petitioners informed that the demand has been made to conduct the survey between 8.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon.

Supreme Court has retained the order given earlier for protecting the Gyanvapi Shivalinga found in Varanasi. The Court has stated that the protection should continue till the next order.
