Karahal (Uttar Pradesh) – By-elections were held for 9 seats of the Vidhan Sabha in Uttar Pradesh on 20 November. On this day, a naked body of a Hindu girl was found in a bag. The mother of the deceased girl accused the Samajwadi Party after this incident. The girl’s mother alleged that a person named Prashant Yadav killed her daughter out of political enmity.

The mother of the deceased girl further said that her daughter was raped and then killed. Prashant was upset because her daughter had expressed her decision to vote for BJP. Prashant threatened her saying if she did not vote for the Samajwadi Party, she would have to face the consequences. 2 eyewitnesses said that on November 19, two persons on a two-wheeler forcibly took away the young woman on the bike. Later her body was found. Police registered a case against Prashant Yadav and Mohan Katheria and arrested them later on the complaint of the girl’s family.
