Muslims should accept that the Gyanvapi is a historical mistake !

  • Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s candid speech
  • Another question which comes to mind is why is there a Trishul at the Gyanvapi !

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – There are Idols of Deities inside the Gyanvapi. We did not keep those Idols. If Gyanvapi is called a ‘Mosque’ then it can become a controversy. This is nothing but a historical mistake. Let those whom God has given vision see why is there a Trishul inside the Mosque ? We have not kept it. The above statements were given by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath when giving an interview with the news agency ‘ANI’. This is the first time Yogi Adityanath has given a direct statement about Gyanvapi.

The Muslims should submit a proposal

Yogi Adityanath further said ‘There is a Jyotirlinga inside the Gyanvapi, there are Idols of Deities and finally what does the architecture on the walls signify ? What I feel is that the Muslim community should get together and submit a proposal saying that this is a historical mistake and we need a solution to correct this mistake.

Do we want the entire country to be like Bengal ?

Yogi Adityanath also criticised the violence that occurred during the panchayat elections in Bengal. He said ‘I have been the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for the last six and a half years and there has not been any riot in Uttar Pradesh since 2017. Those who talk big can see for themselves how we hold the elections in Uttar Pradesh. Bengal also had its elections recently. Have you seen what happened there ? Do you want our entire country to be like Bengal ? Some people want to come to power and control the entire system by force. People of opposition parties were murdered in Bengal. However, nobody speaks on that. The ones trying to murder democracy are the ones who keep praising it. Everyone is silent on what happened in Kashmir in 1990. Why this bias ?

Your religion is limited to your Mosque and not up to the road !

When answering another question, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the country will be run by the Constitution and not by faith and religion. Your opinion, your religion and your methods will be limited to your house, your place of worship is limited to your Mosque. It need not spill onto the streets. You cannot impose ‘who you are’ on others. The nation comes first. If anyone wants to live in this country then they must be prepared to keep the Nation as their first priority and not their faith and religion.
